A Chapter in I & I AM

Witness carries the testimony. Witness knows the happening and understands the action. Witness experiences the activity and can attest to its occurrence. Witness is under the oath to speak the truth always in the court of judgement. Witness who denies the truth destroys the sole purpose of witness. Witness gives attention to certain effects to bear witness of their cause. For plenty carry on in the world of every man and woman, but that to which they pay attention alone is that to which they can bear witness. Many sounds are in the world right now; but the voice or music we listen to alone is that to which we resonate.

I must realise that I exist to witness the work of the Father. I and my Father are One, but my Father is greater than I. I Am the Truth and I bear witness to the Truth.

This is the proper relationship between I and I Am. I Am, therefore, I Do and I Have. I Do and in doing, I bear witness that I Am. I Have and in having, I show the testimony that I Am.

The Witness must declare in every moment of life the complete truth which is witnessed in their experience. The experience of I belongs to me, and cannot be experienced by any other in the entire universe. The experience of I is unique, even when there are many I’s, as plenty as the stars of the universe. Each I is a note in the complete symphony. Each note in its time and on its cleft within the arrangement is unique. There is no substitute that can create the same harmony which a note creates in its music. Therefore, whilst there are many notes alike, none holds the same place of experience as the other. With the difference in this analogy that the symphony of Life is infinite and I can choose what note I become, dull or vibrant, I is a peculiar note in the Father’s symphony, bearing witness by my sounding to the Genius of His Artistry.

The Truth is that I AM is One. I AM is infinite. I AM, and thus, I Can Do All Things. I AM and thus I Become. When I Become and when I Do, I give evidence that I AM. I Am is the thing not seen; I is its substance. I Am is the hoped for. I is its evidence. I continually hope for I Am. More and more do I become thereby I Am. More and more I enter into I Am. More and more do I grow into I Am. Yes, the more I become, the more I Am becoming. Thus, my becoming bears witness that I Am.

In becoming, I bear the fruits of I Am. The fruits of I Am are Love, Peace and Joy. I bear the fruits because I become. I become and therefore I witness.

The Witness bears a testimony, gives evidence of the perceived happening. According to the testimony and evidence, the Witness becomes. The Witness is therefore the evidence of the Witness. Each person in his life has seen the evidence which he uses to form the basis of his testimony. My evidence is the works which the Father (I AM) has done through I. All that I do and have prove that I Am. All that I do is evidence. All that I have is evidence. I and my evidence are One, and my evidence is my Way to witness that I Am.

Now we come to this astounding point. I Am creates both the light and the darkness, makes both peace and evil according to what I testify that I Become. When I testify that I become good, I Am good. When I testify that I become evil, I Am evil. In it all, I witness that I Am.

I Am is infinite, impersonal, unqualified. And I become whatever I choose that I Am. I choose.

This is the law of the witness in all ages. ‘Thou shalt not bear false witness.’ You shall not say that ‘I am not’. You shall not deny that you have chosen this. For I become what I choose that I Am. What I become, my works, are evidence of I. And I am evidence of I Am. ‘The works that I do in my Father’s name (I Am), they bear witness of me.’

When I choose good, my works bear witness and that I Am good. I and my works are One. When I choose evil, the works follow after me as witness unto me. I and my works are One.

I shall not, cannot bear false witness. I cannot deny that I Am. I cannot also deny that I choose that which witnesses me. Man must know that he chooses his works, his destiny. All which he performs are under the power of I Am. It is in ‘I Am that I have done it.’

You shall not bear false witness. You shall not deny that you have chosen this path, and all the consequences and circumstances which you have witnessed, you have chosen with it. It is I that ‘I have done this thing.’ Now, I bear witness that ‘it is finished.’

Therefore, I Am One, and I become with I Am, and that which I have chosen becomes with I. I bear witness, and my witness is true. In the truth of this witness, how shall I change that which is evil that I Am not pleased with?

How then shall I change this? Certainly not by false witness. For to say, ‘I have not done this thing,’ is to bear false witness. If I have not done it, how has it come to be? If I have not chosen it, why did it appear? If I have not given attention to it, how did it come into my experience? I bear false witness that ‘Another Jesus says he is the king, makes himself the Son of God.’ I bear false witness when I deny the truth that ‘I Am: you shall see the Son of man (I) sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.’ When I bear the witness that is false and say that ‘another has done that which I see and hear and perceive,’ then I stand in the danger of judgement. For false witness sows a discord between I and I Am. As it is written, ‘A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.’ Therefore, ‘A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.’ I become powerless to change I Am when I sow a discord by false witness. By attributing that I Am not because I have not done this, I perish.

I desire life. This is why I bear witness. I bear witness of the Light. The Light is Life. Therefore, I desire Life for it is that which I witness. Every fibre of my being resonates with Life. Thus, I desire not to perish. For this reason, it is the law of my being that I shall not bear false witness. To bear false witness shows my ignorance of the very law within me, the law of liberty. I bear witness of the Truth. Therefore, I have done this, the evil works, in the past; and I shall now choose to bear the good works I desire. I now choose Life for Life is that to which I bear witness. Only the fruits, the works of life enter into my attention. I give my attention to the Good, and thereby bear witness to the Good works of my Father. I know that I Am Infinite, Good, Pure, True and Holy. I Am Beauty. Therefore, I Do Good and I Have Good.

Witness is attention. That to which we pay attention is that which we can witness; and we can witness not what we have paid no attention unto. The power of man is not in force but in attention. Attention creates reality in our consciousness. Our consciousness is I and attention is I Am. And that which I Am I Become. To witness is to recount that which I give attention unto. Thus, how I change this which I have done is to do away the iniquity. Yes, verily it is said, ‘I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.’ Now that I see that I have done it, ‘I do away the iniquity.’ I do not apply force. I do not try to change it. I do not resist it. I simply ‘do away the thing I do not want’. I give no more attention to the iniquity. Therefore, darkness and evil works bear no more witness of me. They are no longer one with me, and I do not become their evidence. I give attention to light, and thus, bear witness only to the Light. Light becomes my works, and bears witness of me. Therefore, I and Light are one. Indeed, I Am the Light of the World.

I must understand this and become that good which I desire that I may become who I Am.

I AM LIFE AND LIGHT.

I WITNESS THAT I AM.
